Writing
Are you an aspiring book author with lots of ideas but a shortage of time or writing skills to get your project underway? Perhaps your story, or that of your family or company, would make a great custom-published book. For these and other scenarios needing a good copywriter or ghost writer, Lana can help.
In addition to writing her own feature articles for print and online magazines, Lana helps individual and organizational clients bring their message to intended readers.

Frequently asked questions about copywriting or ghost writing
Who owns the copyright?
The creator of a work, even if a copywriter or ghost writer, owns the copyright unless he or she assigns it to someone else via a rights contract. (Find out more about Canadian copyright law here.) Lana is happy to discuss copyright assignment for any copywriting or ghost writing project.
For magazine articles or books, whose name will appear as the author?
Author credit (also called by-line credit) is subject to negotiation for any copywriting or ghost writing project.
How long does it take to produce a corporate history or personal biography book?
A book-length project usually takes one to two years from conception to completion. It is possible to accommodate a shorter time frame, but the project cost will likely increase.
How much does copywriting or ghost writing cost?
The Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC) provides some useful fee guidelines here. Lana’s fees lie in the ranges cited by PWAC. Contact Lana for a no-obligation quote on your project.
